Launch of CHAINS website
SCIPS in partnership with Wednesbury 2000 have now produced a community website for groups and individuals to access. It gives information of what's on in Sandwell and the six towns. Also information on local community groups, when they meet and how to join, how to set up your own group and, importantly, how to find funding to carry out your activities. To find out more, give me a ring or just log on to CHAINS Community Website. 

Launch of refurbishment at Old Post Office, Wednesbury
Most of the work on the Old Post Office has now been completed and funds are being raised to hold community events in the new facility. The Official Launch will take place on Saturday, 16th July 2011 - 12.00p.m. till 4.00p.m. Refreshments will be provided. Everyone Welcome 

Music Festival
A great day was had by all on Saturday 25th June when an assortment of music was played in the bandstand at Brunswick Park. Free balloons, face painting and bouncy castles were provided for the youngsters taking the stress from parents who have more than one child and find it difficult to afford a fun day out.
