I have been a local councillor for 22 years representing Newton Ward ( Hamstead and Great Barr area ).

I am married with a daughter and a son. I  have lived in the area I represent for 36 years. My husband is also a local councillor representing Newton Ward.

My main council interests are education and housing.

I have the honour of being  the current Mayor of Sandwell.
