The website of Councillor Paul Givan

Lisburn City Council

Welcome to my personal councillor website. I am the Democratic Unionist Party elected member for the electoral ward of Lisburn Town North - part of Lisburn City Council.

I was born and brought up in Lisburn, educated at Pond Park Primary School, Laurelhill Community College, Lisburn Institute and the University of Ulster where I obtained a degree in Business Studies and completed an Advanced Diploma in Management Practice.

At 23 years of age I was the youngest Councillor ever to be elected to Lisburn City Council in the 2005 elections.  I have been the Vice-Chairman of the Leisure Services Committee for two years and am currently Chairman of the Corporate Services Committee.  I serve on the Board of Governors of Pond Park and Ballymacash Primary Schools and am also a member of the District Police Partnership.

I will be using this site to keep you informed about my work, and to provide you with information about developments at Lisburn City Council.

I will be using this website to help me communicate with all residents of Lisburn City Council, regardless of their political persuasion. It has been provided to help improve the quality of communication between councillors and the people that they represent.

Please feel free to contact me and raise any issues that you believe the Council can assist you with, I would be happy to assist were possible.

With best wishes

Councillor Paul Givan .
