Welcome to my personal councillor website. I am the Ulster Unionist Party elected member for the District Electoral Area of Downshire - part of Lisburn City Council. Downshire includes the wards of Ballymacbrennan, Dromara, Drumbo, Hillsborough and Maze.
I was was elected in 2007 to the Northern Ireland Assembly as a Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) member for Lagan Valley. I am also a member of the Northern Ireland Policing Board and UUP Education spokesman.
I will be using this site to keep you informed about my work, and to provide you with information about developments at Lisburn City Council. You can find a good deal of useful information about Councillors in Lisburn by following this link.
It was a privilege for me to be elected to provide representation for everyone who lives in the Downshire electoral area, and I aim to do so to the best of my ability.
