Welcome to my Webb! I've been the councillor for Central St Leonards since 2002, though I have had previous experience on the council since 1998, representing Mount Pleasant and Silverhill - also part of Hastings Borough Council.
This has once again been a very busy year both for myself and our community. I am still living in Central St Leonards and am out and about in the Ward on a daily basis. This has been an interesting and challenging year and I was re-elected in June 2009.
The ward is sea-facing and includes Warrior Square, Kings Road and part of London Road. Since 2007, I have been involved in the St Leonards festival, which has been a great success. In 2009, The Real Thing were the special guest with previous slots by Aswad. We are all expecting this years festival to be even better.
I am sure everyone is enjoying the revitalised St Leonards Gardens, you will really enjoy seeing the improvements created by the partnership of Hastings Borough Council and English Heritage in the community.
Together with Councillor Birch I am working with all groups in our community to achieve a peaceful and harmoneous place to live.
Over the past year there have been some great achievements in our community but there is a lot more to do.

West Ascent Land Slide
There was a landslide in January causing chaos. This was something I had warned the Planning Committee about previously. With Cllr Birch I will continue to monitor this situation.
