Welcome to my website

I've been a Conservative Councillor for Silverhill Ward since May 2008. I am also a science teacher at Filsham Valley School in St Leonards.

Silverhill Ward is in the north/centre of Hastings. It includes the upper end of Alexandra Park, St Matthews Church, Silverdale School and the Silverhill Shopping Centre.

I have been working on the issues surrounding the proposed development of Asda in Silverhill Ward, and I'm concerned about congestion, and the impact that the store may have in the shopping centre, on jobs and on the life of the community.

I hold regular surgeries (eight or nine a year) at St Luke's Church Hall with my co-councillor Matthew Lock (no relation!) and I attend Police Panel meetings and our newly established Silverhill Residents Association.

It really is a massive coincidence that I share a ward with another councillor who has the same name and belongs to the same party. It's just as well that we get on, isn't it?

If you need to get in touch with me, please don't hesitate to use the Contact Me button on this site.
