Since standing down as Mayor
I am still keeping very busy, as I am now very involved with several local Charities, including Emmaus Hastings and Rother, SSAFA Forces Help, Safe Respite Care, Hotels Assn.Weszterleigh Judokwai Club, and am still a Governor at William Parker Sports College. I now sit on Planning, Environment and Saftey, Hastings Week and Museums Committees and also sit on Hastings Open Bowls Tournament and The Hastings Chess Congress committee

EMMAUS
I am now also going to be busy, as I am a Trustee of Emmaus Hastings and Rother, which is an International Charity, and now open here, in Whitworth Road. We re-cycle and re-use anything and everything we are given, and I must thank those who donate so many wonderful things to us. We could not of course do anything without our wonderful volunteers and the Companions who come over from Brighton every day we are open, to help. They are a truly wonderful group of people, and I hope to be able to spend more time helping out, now that I am standing down as Mayor, on Wednesday.I will still be Ward Councillor for Maze Hill, and will still be playing a part in out wonderful Town.

SSAFA
Today in St.Leonards Parish Church, when we celebrated their 125th Anniversary,I was very hyonoured to be made the President of the Hastings and Rother Branch of SSAFA. I promise to do all I can to promote them and help raise funds to enable their wonderful work to be continued.
