Lee-on-the-Solent is located on the western extremity of the Gosport Borough boundary with Fareham.
The overall population of Lee is around 10,300 and we are therefore divided into two local electoral wards – Lee East and Lee West.
This has unfortunately caused some confusion because whilst the boundary between our two wards runs East to West; Lee West comprises the Southern coastal area and Lee East is mainly the newer developments to the North of the town.
To assist you in identifying your ward I have listed below all the roads in Lee West ward.
As you will see from the map our boundary with Fareham is where Marine Parade East meets Stubbington Lane and then traverses the old HMS Daedalus.
To add to the confusion the Fareham wards of Hillhead and Stubbington (including Newgate Lane and adjacent Albert Road and Woodcot Lane) are part of the Gosport Parliamentary constituency.
